中央民族大学概况

中央民族大学（中央民大，Minzu University of China），于1941年9月始建，坐落于北京市海淀区，前身是中国共产党在延安创办的民族学院，由北京市、国家民委和中华人民共和国教育部共建，是一所全国重点大学，位列国家世界一流大学建设高校（A类）、211工程和985工程重点建设大学行列。 该校是国家卓越法律人才教育培养计划、教育部来华留学示范基地、国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目、中国政府奖学金来华留学生接收院校之一。 1951年6月，中央民族学院在北京正式成立，乌兰夫任首任院长。1993年11月，更名为中央民族大学。1999年，学校成为国家“211工程”重点建设大学，2004年成为国家“985工程”重点建设大学。

In 1999, the university was listed as one of the national "Project 211" universities, and in 2004, as one of the national "Project 985" universities.
